A fourth playable character, Sleek, is only available as a downloadable bonus, and is a customizable racing car that incorporates the same driving mechanics as Ghoul. There are three playable characters: Black, a bounty hunter who specializes in explosive vehicles Ghoul, a foul-mouthed assassin with a gruesome death mechanic and a chain gun and Jackal, a hunter like Black who specializes in mechs. Characters from the original game return, but many of the original game's characters have been replaced by new ones. In the sequel, the player controls an army of over 100 vehicles, each with a unique set of weapons and special abilities.
